Unparalleled Craftsmanship In Every Drop
Ernest is a harmonious blend of hand-selected rums, expertly crafted with the utmost precision and masterly blended by 7th Generation Master Distiller, Ron Call. He meticulously selected the finest rums from South and Central America to create one exquisite blend.
After the initial aging process, it undergoes a unique double-finishing technique that sets it apart from the rest: first in new, 36-month air-dried staves in heavy toasted American white oak barrels, imparting rich and robust flavors. It is then double-finished in both Cognac casks and Armagnac casks, further enhancing the complexity and depth of the rum. The result is a symphony of flavors that dance on the palate, inviting you to savor every sip.

Drawing inspiration from the bottle captured in a vintage photo at Finca Vigía, our crystal decanter-style bottle reflects the grandeur and elegance that resonated throughout his life. Much like Hemingway’s enduring literary masterpieces, Ernest encapsulates the essence of authenticity, infused with passion and an unwavering commitment to uncompromising quality.

Encased in a meticulously designed decanter-style bottle, this exclusive edition release is a testament to true artisanship and sophistication. Every detail of our bespoke packaging has been carefully considered, from the luxurious gold embossed cork and elegant closure to the exquisite leather packaging.
Ernest is a true collector’s piece encased in a teal display box embossed with golden foil, wood siding, cream stitching, and gold riveted piping. When opened, it reveals a removable leather valet to display the elegant collectable bottle filled with golden rum and marked with Hemingway’s signature, with the image of Hemingway at Finca Vigía as its backdrop. The box also includes a crystal decanter top made to replace the wood and gold ‘travel cork.' Each bottle features a hand-written numbered label, signifying the only bottle with that number in existence. Every bottle is complete with a Distiller's Certification Card, certifying the authenticity of your purchase.

Ernest is an exceptionally rare release in the world of rum and is destined to become a cherished addition to any discerning rum collector’s cabinet. Only 400 bottles were crafted for our first inaugural release in 2023 which sold out online in under 5 hours! Ernest II will release with a limited run of 600 bottles.
