
HOLIDAY SPICED SANGRIA
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup of Papa's Pilar Sherry-Finished Rum
750 ml bottle of Burgundy wine
1 cup of Papa's Pilar Blonde Cranberry Compote
1 whole Navel orange
10 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
DIRECTIONS
Poke cloves into orange for prep. Add Papa's Pilar Sherry-Finished Rum, wine, cranberry compote, cloved orange and cinnamon sticks into a 3-quart or larger slow cooker/crockpot. Stir to combine ingredients.
Cook on low until warm, 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on your slow cooker). To keep the wine warm, leave the slow cooker on "Keep Warm" setting.
To serve chilled, turn off cooker and let it cool for 30 minutes to room temp and ladle over fresh ice before serving.
