BONITA APPLE RUM
Add 1 bar spoon of Papa’s Pilar Blonde Rum spiced apple compote to an old fashioned glass. Add Angostura bitters, black walnut bitters, Amaro and Papa’s Pilar Sherry-Finished Rum. Stir ingredients with a bar spoon to blend flavors. Add large cubes and stir again to chill the cocktail. Garnish with a charred cinnamon stick.
PAPA’S PILAR BLONDE SPICED APPLE COMPOTE
3 apples (peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes)
1 cup of white sugar
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon of nutmeg
1/4 cup Papas Pilar Blonde Rum
**Add apples, sugar, Papa's Pilar Blonde Rum, cinnamon and nutmeg into a sauce pan and mix well until apples are coated well. Bring pan to a medium heat and continue to stir ingredients occasionally. Cook until apples are soft. Remove from heat and let it cool.
