Pilar's Winter Warmer

Pilar's Winter Warmer

   
  • 1.5 oz Papa’s Pilar Dark Rum
  • 2 oz Hot Coffee
  • 0.75 oz Licor 43

Directions:

Add coffee to rum & Licor 43 in a cocktail mug. Top with whipped cream and garnish with fresh nutmeg.
Rum Cake Cocktail

Rum Cake Cocktail

   
  • 2 oz Papa’s Pilar Dark Rum
  • 4 oz Coffee or Espresso
  • 0.5 oz Half & Half
  • 1 barspoon unsalted butter
  • 2 barspoons of sugar
  • 0.25 barspoon Nutmeg
  • 0.25 barspoon of Cinnamon

Directions:

Combine ingredients in a cocktail mug, stir and top with whipped cream & fresh nutmeg.
Rum Cake Cocktail

  • 2 oz Papa’s Pilar Dark Rum
  • 1 oz White Crème de Cacao  
  • 1 oz Heavy Cream

Directions:

Shake all ingredients and pour into a Coupe glass. Garnish with fresh nutmeg.
Rum Cake Cocktail

 Hot Chai Toddy

   
  • 2 oz Papa’s Pilar Dark Rum
  • 3 oz Hot Chai tea
  • 0.5 oz Lemon juice
  • 0.75 Honey syrup

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a cocktail glass, stir. Optional - garnish with lemon slices & cinnamon sticks.

 Pilar Nog

Serves 5+ people. 
  • 1 cup of Papa's Pilar Blonde Rum
  • 1 cup of Papa’s Pilar Dark Rum
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 0.5 cups of sugar
  • 1.5 cups of Milk
  • 1 cup Whipping Cream
  • 1 oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, to taste
  • 1 drop of Vanilla extract

Directions:

Cream the egg yolks and sugar together. Slowly add rum and dram. Mix in milk and cream, followed by vanilla. Whip egg whites until fluffy and stiff and fold into cream mixture. Allow to chill for 24 hours. Stir gently before pouring into glasses. Garnish with fresh nutmeg.

 

Rum Cake Cocktail

Hemingway Hot Punch

Serves 5+ people. 
  • 1 bottle Papa’s Pilar Dark Rum
  • 15 oz water
  • 7.5 oz fresh squeezed Lemon juice
  • 5 oz fresh squeezed Lime juice
  • 5 oz Brown Sugar simple syrup

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a pot and simmer on low for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve in a small coffee cup or Irish coffee mug. Garnish each cup with a lemon peel.mixture. Allow to chill for 24 hours. Stir gently before pouring into glasses. Garnish with fresh nutmeg.

Papa's Buttered Rum-Pum-Pum-Pum

Serves 5+ people. 
  •  2 oz Papa's Pilar Dark Rum⁠ 
  • 4 dashes chocolate bitters⁠
  • 1 spoonful of holiday spiced butter batter⁠*  
  • Top with Hot water⁠

Directions:

Add 2 oz of Papa's Pilar Dark Rum and 4 dashes of chocolate bitters into a coffee cordial glass. Add 1 spoonful of holiday spiced butter batter and top with hot water. Use the spoon to mix batter until it is dissolved. Garnish with a  charred marshmallow.

Holiday Spiced Butter Batter Recipe:⁠

  •  2 oz Papa's Pilar Dark Rum⁠ 
  • 4 dashes chocolate bitters⁠
  • 1 spoonful of holiday spiced butter batter⁠*  
  • Top with Hot water⁠

Directions:

Mix all ingredients into a mixing bowl until everything is mixed well. Store in mason jar and keep refrigerated.
